“It’s important to have your ducks in a row”
How often do we hear old adages like this one? I know I do all the time. And, for the most part, there seems to always be a nugget or two of truth and wisdom within them.
At times in our lives, our figurative ducks may be in a row (lucky us). If you’re like me, those times represent a small cross-section of our lives. Typically, my ducks are not in a row; in fact, they are wandering. Dabbling in a few things here, some other things there, struggling with one aspect of life while thriving in another.
Life is fluid and in flux. I like it that way. My goal in life is not to have my ducks in a row, but rather to enjoy every season of life, building upon lessons learned. I strive for harmony between work and life, and I always aim to enjoy the present moment, no matter how my ducks may appear.
